Position Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Account Manager to join our team. In concert and working with several Business Development Managers, you will be responsible for managing the relationships with a variety of clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and providing them with the best solutions for their experiential events, branded environments, and face-to-face marketing initiatives.

Key Duties and Management Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients regularly via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Understand the client’s goals, budget, timeline, and preferences for their trade show exhibit.
  • Coordinate with the design and project management teams to create customized proposals.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Business Development team, including project invoicing.
  • Monitor the progress of the projects and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Communicate interdepartmentally to key stakeholders.
  • Travel to shows periodically to support clients and Business Development Managers.
  • Attending both local and national association functions and networking events.
  • In conjunction with the Sales Manager, develop annual account plans.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Education:

  • Dedicated to 100% customer satisfaction and representation of Captivate Exhibits in a positive and confident manner by extolling the virtues of the “Captivate Way.”

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to effectively multitask well under pressure.
  • A client-oriented mindset and a passion for creativity.
  • At least one year of experience in sales or account management with a preference for those in the trade show industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, basic computer skills and a working knowledge of an ERP or CRM type system.
  • Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Must have full speech, vision, hearing, and mobility, with or without reasonable accommodations, and meet all the requirements of Captivate Exhibits including passing a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Must be legally able to work in the United State and possess a Valid Driver’s license.
