Position Summary:

The Sales Professional/Account Executive will be responsible for a myriad of key sales, both on an organic level, brand building, product awareness, and client loyalty. In this role the Account Executive will play a major part in the execution of an individual sales plan, which in total is a sum of the overall company mission and vision. You will be responsible, with the assistance of the Director of Sales, for developing a personal set of sales metrics, measuring against scorecards and be able to implement, monitor and report on definable metrics on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis. The Account Executive will create DAILY prospecting habits that will lead to NEW client sales. The Account Executive will be responsible for managing and developing a percentage of small portable displays along with exceptionally Large custom displays.

Key Duties and Management Responsibilities:

  • Effectively develop and execute/ implement his/her individual sales plan; manage, and execute all clients’ sales programs in his/her individual sales plan
  • Create annual sales projections using a pipeline filling process while being accountable for achieving sales revenues, and exceeding the company’s gross margin targets
  • Maintain and input all client activity into the ERP/CRM daily and use the CRM to effectively manage the business on his/her desk.
  • In concert with his/her peers in the sales group, develop new strategies for retention of current clients, but develop strong outside and organic sales plans to bring in “new” clients to his/her desk.
  • Provide regular reporting against client, and revenue-mandated objectives and metrics.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to achieve maximum lead generation/conversion and brand awareness
  • Work with marketing to best utilize both social media, networking, and trade show attendance as ways of creating your own LEADS.

Sales Role:

  • Direct Sales Function
    • Enhancing and cultivating current client relationships that will be assigned from the Director of sales from current client base
    • Development and forecasting of an individual sales plan, to include sales funnel management and Implementing Sales Plan and process to attain company goals and objectives
    • Analyze data that is driven off the internal ERP/ CRM and sales funnel sales metrics, KPI’s and develop/adjust sales plan to convert leads and drive sales.
    • Directly deliver sales results of both new clients while cultivating relationships with existing Captivate clients.
    • Attend various trade shows that your clients participate at and be a leader for the coordination of the routing, install, and dismantle, as well perform on floor lead generating opportunities. (Some travel is required)
    • Attend various networking events to garner and promote and support the individual sales process and business model
    • Work in partnership with other BDM’s, AE’s and Senior AE’s, and the Director of Sales and Marketing at times acting as a back up on key clients, and key projects. Each AE will also be expected to spend some time selling and developing small portable sales as a way of strengthening the company’s position in the categories and or pass along to other AEs to assist in creating the final sale.
  • Business Development Role:
    • The Account Executive WILL spend time developing a variety of strategies that lead to NEW Business, NEW partnerships all while exceeding the stated Gross REVENUE target. You will be held accountable to various business development strategies that develop into pipeline growth. Examples: Phone work, e-mails, social media following, updating lead files, and updating of the ERP/CRM to insure 100% accurate and total revenue that is associated with each known opportunity.
    • Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to identify key drivers of Business Development strategies that work best for the individual sales professional.

  • Proficient computer skills with knowledge in Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks, Windows based products

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The essential functions include, but are not limited to, providing outstanding customer service; using the company’s resources for fulfilling sales orders; selling exhibit products and services to prospects; working with minimal direction and supervision; communicating with prospects, clients, vendors, and team members through email and phone; clearly verbally communicating details effectively in personal and group settings; preparing written materials including RFPs using a computer; completing multiple sales activities using a  variety of databases, maintaining accurate and timely records; ensuring confidentiality of all proprietary information; and being able to travel locally and out-of-town, when necessary at least 15% of the time.  Must have full speech, vision, hearing, and mobility, with or without reasonable accommodations, and meet all the requirements of Captivate Exhibits including passing a physical, criminal background check, and drug test. Must possess a Valid Driver’s license
